Crazy things have been happing in the baseball world:
Last night ( 8/15) : The 20-year-old, rookie Ronald Acuna JR for the Atlanta Braves has been nothing short of a stud, as coming into last night (7/15) , he had hit a leadoff HR in 3 straightgames,
including 5 straight games with a HR, and 8 HRs in his last 8 games. But when he stepped into the box, looking to become the first rookie, and the first player in 52 years to hit a leadoff HR in 4 straight games, Miami Marlins pitcher, Jose Urena, intentionally hit Acuna in the elbow with the fastest pitch of his career, a 97MPH fastball, The benches cleared and Acuna left the game due to injury, and Jose was tossed after 1 pitch. Acuna was thankfully ok, but as forJose,ehe was fined by the MLB, an undisclosed amount, and also suspended six games.

Mets set a a franchise record for runs scored by, besting Phillies24-4,and scored a combined 30 runs in the DH ( Doubleheader), but it still falls five runs shy of the record for most runs scored in a DH by one team. The Boston Red Sox set that record oil 1939, when they scored 35 runs on the Phillies.
