🚨🚨 BREAKING: METS HIRE BELTRAN.

The Mets have finally made a decision on who there next manager will be. It’s Carlos Beltran!

Carlos, is a future Hall of Famer and spent 20 years playing with the Royals (1998-2004), the Mets (2005-2011), the Cardinals (2012-2013), the Yankees (2014-2016) and the Astros where he snatched that elusive World Series title in 2017 before retiring.

Carlos, also spent a part of 2004 with the Astros, a part of 2011 with the Giants and a part of 2016 with the Rangers.

Last season, Carlos was a special advisor to Yankees GM Brian Cashman and did a great job keeping the farm system efficient in his time there.

He is well respected around the game of baseball and is very intelligent as well.

Beltran showed it in his bid for this Mets job as well, by saying he will hire fan- favorite Terry Collins as his bench coach.

Personally, I love this move!

Carlos is an amazing guy and really knows his stuff. He’s great with the media and isn’t afraid to share his ideas or back down from what might be some reportedly “Puppet” decisions from GM Brodie Van Wagen, that happened in 2019 with Mickey Calaway with led to him getting angst from the Mets fanbase and the media.

I really think this Improves the Mets chemistry, as Beltran can connect to the young players on the Mets roster.

If you think about it, the Mets are following the Yankees “Aaron Boone route” as it has worked out well for the boys across town who have just had back to back 100 win seasons with Boone as the skipper.

If you would ask me what the Mets record would be this upcoming season, I would say 92-70 and a playoff berth with what they currently have though it’s too early to get into that.

Overall though, Metsville should celebrate a bit this weekend, they got an awesome guy and an even better manger. We will see how he executes this and apply it to the everyday life of being a baseball manager.

I have to admit, the Mets finally got it right.
