Gardy Is back in NY! Just as I predicted, Gardner opts out and sighns a 1 year deal ,( That ended up being worth $7.5 million ) and thats exactly what happened!!!! Gardy showed he still got it in the postseason, and will give a wirl for one more year . This will be his 12th season with the Yankees! Welcome back Brett , happy to see you don’t want to leave the pinstripes!
Note : The Yankees also saved $3 milion in this deal!
Brett will serve as the backup Yankees outfielder, , just like in 2018, however despite that , the 35 year old is still a gold glove finalist!
