The best player in baseball has decided to stay in Anaheim. Mike Trout has reportedly agreed to a record -breaking 12 year, $430 million deal with the Los Angeles Angles, in a shocking move.
Trout was expected to become a Free agent in 2020 and test the market , but now he has decided that he will stay with the Angles and finish his career where he started. In an Angles uniform.
The deal reportedly has no opt outs , as Trout broke Bryce Harpers record ($330 million) for the most money, and Zack Greinkes record ($34 million), for the most AAV ( Average annual value) as he will $36 million a year! Mike will make
$98K a day, and $21K a game, with this new deal.
Along with the $70 million remaining on his original deal, Mike Trout will be making a total of $500 million over the next 14 years which is beyond crazy!!!
The 27 year old Trout has already done some legendary things in his first 7 seasons with the Halos.
He’s a former Rookie of the Year winner (2012), a 7 time All-Star ( A 2 time All-Star game MVP), and a 2 time AL MVP.
