BREAKING: WATSON WANTS OUT OF HOUSTON

It’s funny, because if you would’ve told the Texans fanbase a few years ago, and told them that Deshaun Watson will want out of Texas, their response would be full of laughter. But now, it all makes sense, and in no way is this Watsons fault.

For one, this organization went backwards instead of going forwards, they had an amazing team led by Watson, Hopkins, Clowney, and Watt, and it showed last season, when they marched towards the AFC Divisional round , and came within striking distance of playing for a

Super Bowl berth. Even after that loss, you thought Houston would be back led by their thing and dynamic QB.

But no, they took a gamble on making their coach Bill O Brien their GM, and it became the worst move in franchise history, and one of the worst in recent NFL history. Instantly, Deandre Hopkins, the best WR in football was dealt away to Arizona, but that’s because DH was upset himself about how the Texans wanted to rebuild, instead of moving forward, and building on their run last season. What they got back was veteran David Johnson (Who wasn’t bad for them), and a draft pick, which was flipped to the Rams, for WR Brandon Cooks. They also let Clowney walk in FA, which was the last straw for Bill as a GM.

In the end, this year was the end of O Brien as a coach too, as he was relived of his duties, after an 0-4 Texans beginning to the season.

Despite Watson literally putting the offense on his back week in, and week out to keep Houston in games, it didn’t even matter, with the team finishing 4-12, and due to their deal with the Dolphins a couple years ago, that acquired WR Kenny Stills, and offensive linemen, Luke Tinsil, they didn’t even have their own draft pick, which would’ve been third.

Now you see why Watson is suddenly so enraged, and it doesn’t even stop there, it’s also that this organization doesn’t give a thought about what he thinks is best for them going forward.

Of course, this comes all the way from the top with their owner, who told Deshaun, he would be involved with the GM search, but he didn’t even get his say in the process, and although you could argue Houston may have been worried Watson wouldn’t be satisfied, all he wanted was at least “a say”, in the process, as the leader of the players on this team. Add that onto how the decision hasn’t done so much for them anyways, and now you see why Deshaun Watson wants to leave the Houston Texans.

Overall, this is a person that supports the trade request of Deshaun Watson from Houston, which is something that never usually happens, because that player most of the time is doing it for money, fame, or to ultimately cause havoc on another team, and force his way out of a rebuilding franchise. Deshaun here, is clearly not saying this for the money, because he sighed a 4 year $156 million extension with the team last season, even after the Hopkins transaction, thinking was transcending upwards, but instead went downwards. Watson is an elite QB in this league, and we have seen that surrounded, even by subpar talent, can be something special. Like the Houston Rockets, the Texans are going in the opposite direction of winning, and like James Harden rightfully wanted out of Houston’s NBA team, before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets due to just that, Watson does too; and I think it’s time we as fans support him, just like Texans legend Andre Johnson has as well.

LANDING SPOTS:

Well, they have to trade him, and if Houston does, it’s probably to the NFC, where the 49ers are a strong fit with 10 draft picks in the near future, and Super Bowl runner-up QB Jimmy G to offer up. A sample deal, would probably be similar to what the Rockets got from the Nets for Harden, because Deshaun has that much upside.
