The Yankees have fired there long time pitching coach Larry Rothschild after 9 seasons.
THOUGHTS:
End of an era and the start of a new one.
Thanks Larry Rothschildfor everything. He has developed some great pitchers over the years in Masahiro Tanaka and Luis Severino and has kept multiple pitchers fresh as there careers have winded down in Andy Petite , CC Sabathia and Phil Hughes. Overall though, the pitching was not the best in his 9 years here which is why the Yankees have made this love, but it was consistently mediocre so I’ll give him that.
Overall, he was a nice veteran presence to see in the dugout on a daily bases.
