The Yeshiva University Roller Hockey team just keeps rolling on! On Tuesday night, they took on the Narcs, a team they previously crushed 13-1. Star player Sol Feder, the offseason acquisition, showed his stuff yet again. He scored a whopping seven goals and dished out two assists, setting a Yeshiva record with a nine-point night in the Macs' 10-4 win.
Feder was on a heater, netting six of the game's first seven goals, setting the pace for YU's 7-0 lead. The only goal he didn't score was a beautiful play where Yoni Drazin set up EITAN Levy for the Macs' fourth goal. Levy had a fantastic night, contributing three points with a goal and an assist.
Feder wasn't just about scoring; he also set up Drazin's goal, extending the lead to 8-1 during the Macs' six-goal second period. And he found Sunday’s hero against Stony Brook, Gabriel Rosenblatt for an early third-period goal, making it 9-2. Big game Gabe, indeed!
The Macs outshot the Narcs 39-25 and secured their spot in the ISCA cup playoffs with three regular season games to spare. Feder's seven-goal performance is incredible, especially when you realize it matches YU's ISCA points leader Zach Levy's total over six games. Feder has 12 goals and 17 points in just four ISCA games, though all of his goals have come against the Narcs.
Meanwhile, EITAN Levy, dubbed the "ISCA king" by his teammate Ariel Greenberg, has 13 goals and 19 points in five games. There's no time to bask in the glory, though, as the Macs face off against the Killa Bees on Wednesday night !
