Jack Nakash, and Mourad Faham drove in two, leading the way for Pepsi, who rallied from a 3-1 deficit for a 8-4 win over Root Beer.

Jack Jajati went 3 for 4 with 3RBIs, Jack Raoul and Habib Ashe had a four hit days, Jacob Nisir had 3 knocks, Bobby Mizrahi had a two hit, two RBI game, and Ralph Jemal went 3-4 with an RBI himself, as Gatorade rolled past Snapple 15-6.
TUESDAY:
Bobby Tawil had two hits, and two RBIs, Elliott Setton had two hits with 3RBIs, and Arthur Azar and Eli Gindi also knocked in runs, as Coke demolished Grape Juice 9-2.
Morris Novick had four hits including a monster double, and drove in two, David Tawil made two diving catches as the pitcher, while knocking home three runs himself, while Abie Haddad and Lawrence Shamah singled home two runs apiece, as Root Beer bounced back with a 10-3 win over Gatorade.
Jack Nakash, Simon Levy, and Abie Levy all drove in runs, while a collective defensive effort led the way, as Pepsi improved to 3-0 on the year with an 8-0 demolition of Snapple.
Ronny Shalom, Jack Alfaks(Winning pitcher) , Ray Kameo, Aaron Cohen, and Reuben Bibi all knocked in runs, as 7up edged DR Pepper late 6-5 in a thrilling contest.
In the CSL, Shaya Fallas and Hymi Sitt drove in two, while Joey Cohen, and Morris Mabroot each had strong games, as the Jawbreakers defeated the Jolly Ranchers 8-4 to take a 2-0 lead in their season series.
Looking to remain undefeated in their rematch with the Airheads, Aaron Sayeg went deep, and drove in two, Jimmy Hadryie came up big for his team, by walloping one out of the yard, Sammy Ashkenazi got ahold of of HR, and Isaac Metta’s two runs blast became the overall game-changer in an exhilarating 8-7 win over the Airheads to move to 4-0 on the year, and 2-0 against their candy rivals.
Steven Hoffman was on “Fire” , as he went deep three different times, setting the tone for bombs by Joey Alfaks, Elliot Alhabi, and Chuky Abadi, while Ezra Gindi, and Mark Anetbi each chipped in with timely hits, as the Fireballs evened their record at 2-2 with an 18-11 rout of the suddenly reeling Poprocks.
WEDNESDAY:
Nissim Levy drove in two, and Albert Movazeb drove in the go-ahead run, as
7up registered their fourth straight win, by defeating Root Beer 3-2.
In a tightly contested affair Pepsi improved to 4-0 with a 5-4 victory over Grape Juice, as Martian Levy, and David Assoulin drove in runs for the victors.
Needing a victory after a crushing loss on Tuesday, Gatorade took care of business, doubling up Coke 10-5.
In a battle of the basement, DR Pepper finally got into the win-column, as they pummeled Snapple 10-0. Morris Sutton pitched a complete game shutout with 8k’s, while the offense was led by Abi Gindi, Aaron Cohen, Ronny Shalom, and Solly Nasiri, who drove in two runs each. Morris also helped himself with two hits, and an RBI, in the rout.
David Franco went deep twice drove in three runs, but it was Jacob Israel who stole the show with a HR, and five RBI’s, as the Airheads “Popped” the Poprocks 15-5.
Tina Accad had four singles, but also drove in four runs earning “Game MVP” honors, while David Hymi, Ezra Gindi, and Shaya Fallas chipped in with three RBIs each, as the Jawbreakers pummeled the Fireballs 21-9. Also in the victory, was a nifty double play by David Esses, a three hit game by Morris Mamrout, two RBI games by Albert Zeitouni and Joey Cohen, as well as runs by Hennrey Abadi, and Hymi Sitt.
In the most shocking upset of the week, the Jolly Ranchers rained down on the previously undefeated Skittles 12-2, avenging a 17-2 mauling earlier in the week. In his team debut, Raymond Nachum drove in four runs for the Jolly Ranchers, while Selim Haddad had 3RBIs, propelling the team to victory, snapping the mini two game losing game losing streak. As for the Skittles, they fall back into a first-place tie with the 4-1 Jawbreakers, who scored a combined 59 runs this week, averaging 20 a game. It will be interesting to see what transpires when these two rivals face off once again next week for the second time this season.
