MONDAYS W MARV 2/18

It has been an interesting week of sports so let’s dive right in!

Knicks: 11-47

We actually won!!!!! The Knicks leaped into the All Star break with a 106-91 win over the Atlanta Hawks , led by DSJs 19 points!

On All Star weekend, the Knicks had Kevin Knox on team USA in a Rising Stars challenge win, and DSJ in the dunk contest, who lost in the finals to Hamidou Diablo.

Nets : 30-29

The Nets went into the All Star break, with an epic 149-139 triple overtime win over the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers (12-46)

On All Star weekend, the Nets had Jared Allen and Rodinos Kurucs in a Rising Stars challenge loss to USA.

The Nets also had Joe Harris in the 3 point contest, who was able to shock Stephen Curry and the rest of the field by winning the competition, as well as Deangalo Russel in a team Giannis loss to team LBJ.

Rangers: 24-25-8

The Rangers have gone 8-6-1, in their last 15 games, so they have been playing mediocre hockey lately, progress is being made!!!

Islanders: 35-17-6

This team just keeps on rolling!! They are not only first in the Metro, but also 4th in the NHL overall, as well as second in the Eastern Conference. Keep it up guys!!!

MLB:

Veteran 3B Mike Moustakas , has shockingly resigned with the Milwaukee Brewers on a one year deal.

Now former Yankee Adeiny Hecheveria has signed a Minor League deal with the New York Mets.

The Yankees acquired “Hech” in a trade with the Pirates for depth at 3B.

“Hech” , had his moments with the Yankees in 2018, including a crazy in the air catch in the WC game against the A’s.

This was expected that the Yankees would let him walk, as they only acquired him as as a rental, and used him that way.

Adeiny, has a great glove, but not such a good bat. He will be great for the Mets Who now really have depth at every position in the infield.

Thanks for everything “Hech”!
