Your going to have one of those games even in a 60 game season. James Paxton couldn’t get out of the first inning, and Victor Robles and the Nationals made him pay, as Washington rode the offense to 9-2 victory on Saturday, to even the 3 game series at one game apiece. Robles went 3 for 4, with 4RBis(Including a 2run HR off Yankees prospect Micheal King) in the 4th, after a DJ LeMahieu RBI single (For his 2nd hit in his 2020 debut), and a 417 FT Giancarlo Stanton blast off Erik Freddie (After Strasburg couldn’t start tonight because of a nerve issue), got the Yankees to within 3-2.
Despite the defense having 5 errors, the Nats were able to weather the storm, as Aaron Judge went 0 for 5, summing up a night where the Yankee left a combined 20 men on base.
Luis Avilan and Ben Heller were clobbered by the Washington offense, after Mike King went 3.1 innings of 4 run ball in his 2nd MLB appearance , although heh did get out of a bases loaded 0 outs jam in the 2nd after Paxton departed, keeping the Yankees in it. It should also be noted, that Micheal A Taylor and Asdrubal Cabrera left the yard as well.
New York had 2 errors on the night, one by Paxton and one by Torres, as the Nationals came away with a little-league feel 9-2 win at Nationals Park. This year though, a win is a win for anyone, and this series shifts to tomorrow when Patrick Corbin opposes the Yankees bullpen, with first pitch a at 1:05 PM.

FRAZIER, HELLER SENT DOWN:
