NBA FINALS: PASCAL ROCKS THE HOUSE, AS RAPS STRIKE 1ST OVER DUBS!

I will be live blogging game one of the NBA Finals! The Golden State Warrors Vs Toronto Raptors at 9:00PM in Toronto.

PREVIEW:

This past weekend, the Raptors competed their upset of the Bucks by winning a thrilling game 6 100-94, led by none other then Kwahi Lenor who ousted regular season MVP Giannis Atendakumbo. Great come by the Raptors, as they trailed 2-0 in the series, before winning 4 in a row.

As for the Warriors, what else I need to say ? We know who they are, and tonight they shockingly hmace activated argubly the best center in the NBA Demarcus Cousins who for those of you who don’t recal, teared his quad in the first round of the Playoffs.

As for KD, he’s out for the 1st 2 games of this series. However, I don’t think it really matters considering the Warriors are 5-0 without him this postseason.

FINALS PREDICTIONS : Warriors in 6. Win Game 1,Lose GM 2 win 2 in a row, drop a game in Toronto to make it 3-2, Curry drops 40 in Game 6 and take FMVP

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Warriors:

Curry

Draymond Green

Thomson

Andre Igdoula

Cousins

Kevon Loony

Jordan Mckinny

Jordan Bell

Raptors:

Kwahi Lenord

Fred Vanvleet

Kyle Lowry

Pascal Siackim

Danny Green

Jeremy Lin

Other guys must step up for Toronto in this game and in this series. We will see what happens!

1st quarter: Warriors 21 Raptors 25

Good game early on here. Teams feeling each other out. Green and Curry are the two guys hot out of the gate early.

Warriors 9 Raptors 9

Raptors are playing team ball! Everyone is chipping in. As for the Warriors Curry has continued to lead the charge. They wouldn’t be in this game if it wasn’t for him thus far.

Warriors 19 Raptors 22

Raptors physicality is paying off so far as the 1st quarter comes to a close!

Curry has done a good job keeping the Warriors in it as they will have to ajust now to the physicality of the Raptors. Pasal Siakam has been doing a good job leading the way for Toronto and making his presence felt.

Win %

Raptors 55% Warriors 45%

HALFTIME: Warriors 48 Raptors 58

The physicality of the Raptors has picked up and the Warriors haven’t been able to respond. Curry is lightning it up, but the combination of Danny Green and Marc Gasol has been too much for the Warriors to handle. We will see what happens in the second half.

Raptors 58% Warriors 42%

End 3rd WARRIORS 81 RAPTORS 88

Pascal Siakam has taken over this game!! The Warriors have made a run, but Siakam and the Raptors have maintained their lead. Should be an exciting 4th!!

Raptors 63% Warriors 37%

FINAL: WARRIORS 109 RAPTORS 118

As we expected, the Warriors started the 4th strong and cut it down to 3. But Sikam and the Raptors came right back, as Toronto extended their lead, and Danny Green put the game away with a corner 3 pointer to send the Toronto crowd into a frenzy and put the Raptors up 100-88 with 7 minutes to play.

Unbelievable job by the Raptors, exposing the Warriors, with physicality on both ends of the floor. I think what the Raptors have done that other teams haven’t, is they have out defended the Warriors. The bench was too much for the Warriors to handle, and Siakam was punishing the Warriors in the paint.

The Warriors speed was shut down by the Raptors press, that is different then any other team, because they are so physical and make themselves super big.

3 Stars:

Pascal Siakam 32ptsStephen Curry 34ptsDanny Green 11pts

Prediction for game 2 on Sunday at 8:00PM

Warriors even the series.
