PLAYOFF BOUND! NYCFC NOTCH LAST SPOT IN SWEET 16, TORONTO FC UP NEXT!

NYCFC is headed to the playoffs! Following their 1-0 win over Miami on Monday, a 1-0 Atlanta loss to Columbus, combined with a 1-0 Red Bulls loss to Cincinnati, and a 2-1 La Galaxy win over Houston( With LA needing to win by less than 2 goals), have secured NYFC a wild card spot despite going 1-2 in group play with a -2 goal differential. The boys will face Toronto FC on Sunday night at 8:30 in the round of 16. This will be a playoff rematch from last season, when Toronto knocked NYCFC out of the dance in round 1. Proud of these guys for even making the playoffs, after the way they started the tournament Orlando at the “MLS is back” tournament. Let’s see how far they can go!
