REVENGE IS SWEET ISN’T IT? STARS ROMP THUNDER.

The North Shore Stars pummeled the YDE Thunder on Monday night (12/17) at the Galaxy arena 8-0, behind Andrew Senders hat trick, and the gold glove of Marc Sigelman in net .

The win avenges the 1-0 loss on November 17th to the Thunder at the Thunder dome .

This loss is a very tough one for the Thunder, as it ends any chance of them making the playoffs.

Shorthanded, the YDE Thunder knew it was going to be a tough one, as they ran an 8 man rotation.

North Shore ,(Smelling Blood) pounced early and often, as they peppered YDE goalie, Charles Sulatan, and score a couple of minutes in, when Charles Grezzes, got one in from the slot , that gave the Stars a 1-0 lead.

North Shore , continued to put pressure, and scored again, when Andrew Senders rocketed one from the point, that gave the stars a 2-0 lead.

After that, it was a scoring spree , as 20 seconds later, Eytan Silverman fired one home, before Andrew Senders got one in from half court for his second goal of the game, to give North Shore , a comfortable 4-0 lead after 12 minutes of play.

In the second period, YDE played better, but the Stars still found ways to put pucks in, as Senders completed his hat trick , before Jack Hadar got in on the fun.

YDE put pressure, on Sigelman throughout the period. But little to avail, as North Shore took a 6-0 lead after 2, with YDE having a huge hill to climb, if they wanted to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Thunder came out flying in the third, and put a ton of pressure, on the North Shore defense and Marc, but still weren’t able to get on the scoreboard.

North Shore, meanwhile, rounded out their scoring, as Jermy Rosen hit Grezzes for a goal , before Daniel Koran finished YDE off, with the Stars 8th goal, for an 8-0 win.

“That game against MDY does matter , because we want those bragging rights”

“ I wish them good luck in the playoffs , they are a great team , and it was fun playing them this year , glad that we won them though, and our win can alter the playoff seeding later on”

“I think it shows every win is important”.
