Anibal Sanchez backed up his 5 innings of 1 run ball performance in game 3 of the NLDS, with an even better one as he no-hit the Cardinals through 7.2 innings en route to a 2-0 win on Friday night (10/11) that gave the Nationals a 1-0 lead in this best of 7 NLCS that began in ST Louis.
Washington provided just enough offense for Anibal aaa Yan Gomes and Howie Kendrick both came through with RBI knocks. Kudos to Sean Doolittle who relived Sanchez and looked the opposite of what he looked in the regular season by going 1.1 scoreless sealing the Nats victory.
