What I learned from yesterday’s Sports Hiatus challenge, game 6 of the 2013 NBA finals between Heat and the Spurs, with Miami winning in OT 103-100 and force game 7, where they won the their second straight title.
1. NEVER LEAVE EARLY: Heat fans started leaving with 30 seconds remaining in regulation down 94-89 and missed the heroics of Ray Allen’s game-tying 3.
2.NEVER GIVE UP:
When LeBron James missed that potential game-tying 3 pointer, it all seemed lost for the Heat. But Chris Bosh got the rebound, and threw it out to Allen to stepped back and banked the 3 to tie the game and send it to Overtime.
3. HUSTLE WINS GAMES:
Hustle plays down the stretch in Overtime like Chris Bosh’s block helped the Heat force game 7, where they ultimately won the title.
SPORTS HIATUS DAY 3:
We stay in the NBA with game 1 of the 2013 Eastern Conference finals between the Heat and the Pacers. This game ended with one big buzzer beater! Enjoy!
