One last baseball game to round out the weekend. But first, what we learned from the Aaron Boone walk-off.
KEEP CHIPPING AWAY:
The Yankees chipped away after falling behind 4-0 and it paid off, as they eventually came from behind for the win.
GAME MANAGEMENT:
Brady Little’s mistake by letting Pedro Martinez continue proved costly for the Red Sox. For all you future managers, that should be a lesson to you that when you have some great guys at the back of that bullpen like Boston did, use them.
BE BRAVE:
Boone’s HR came on the first pitch of the 11th inning in his first AB of the night after coming off the bench. He was brave and led the Yankees to victory.
TODAY:
It’s a battle of two teams who are trying to break some World Series fronts as the Cubs battle the Indians in game 7 of the 2016 World Series. Enjoy!
