Hello Heat nation, I want to officially welcome you to rebuild mode. This past season was ofically the end of an era with Dwayne Wade riding off into the sunset, with another swan song to follow in Udonis Haslam. This past offseason, the Heat acquired young star Jimmy Butler to try and keep this franchise relevant in the weak Eastern Conference while also trying to improve this teams youth and with Jimmy leading the way, get them used to some big time games.
Miami is expected to roll out an interesting starting lineup in Butler, Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters, James Jhonson and Bam Adabeyo. It's a mix of youngsters and veterans, which I believe works in the Heats favor because the veterans can mentor the youngsters, who will have the opportunity to thrive once they hit their "Vet Years".
Overall, this should a playoff team in the east, but I don't see really them getting far this season as this is still a team trying to move on after the curtain officially came down on one of the greatest runs in NBA History. The "Big 3 Heat" of LBJ, Wade and Chris Bosh.
