I know that it might not feel like that now after that shocking Summer night when you traded A star you had come to know and love in Paul George to the Clippers. I know that you may not feel like that now after you traded Russ to the Rockets and I especially know that you may not feel like it now after having James Harden, Kevin Durant, Dennis Schroeder and many others go through your system. But while I can go on about that, I wanted to let you know why I have brought your attention to this piece.
The reason why I brought you here is because I wanted to tell you look what you got back.
You got back five first round picks in the PG trade and 4 more in the Russ Trade, coupled with a few more from other deals making from Denver and you guys are now looking at 14 first round picks in the next 7 years and counting with Chris Paul on your roster and on the verge of being dealt as well. You also got tough and young guards in the LAC deal in Shai- Gillgeous -Alexander and Danilo Galanari that can be your foundation in this rebuild.
Thunder fans this is just as start to the brilliant team GM Sam Presti will put together to bring you guys that elusive championship. But it will take patience and lottery seasons to get it done. So OKC i ask you, are you ready to RUMBLE!

I like what we have here, because they got a lot of draft picks in return of stars and they will be great soon. I think still think they even have a chance to make it to the playoffs because they got CP3 ,Gallinari and Alexander and Adams so I still have hope.

You do realize that CP3 will get dealt soon right? I really don’t think Presti has that in mind this year. Do you really think Adams, SGA and Galanari have what it takes to get to the postseason in this stacked Western Conference? If yes then tell me why below.

When I first saw what had happened on that fateful “ Paul George Trade night” I was going crazy!
But then I realized Sam Presti is a geniuses because of the picks and talent they got the trade was worth it and they are going into rebuild mode. Now they have 15 picks in the next 10 years and they can get more picks or young players by dealing Chris Paul away and build around the young foundation we already have in SGA and Galanari.
