THRILLING THURSDAY SPORTS UPDATE 2/11/21

It’s been an eventful last few days as far as NY sports are concerned, with derrick Rose making his Knicks debut, the Nets falling into a slump, and the Rangers continuing to play tight one- goal hockey games.

KNICKS: 11-15

Derrick Rose played well, scoring 14 points in 20 minutes, but it wasn’t enough as the Knicks missed shots down the stretch, including a wide-open layup by RJ Barret, in a 98-96 Heat win, dropping the Knicks to four games under .500. Aheartbreaking loss for sure.

NETS 15-12:

I’m not giving up on this team, but wow is this stunning. Brooklyn fell to the lowly Pistons on Tuesday night(2/9), which was their third straight defeat, and dropped them. To 14-12. However, an impressive defensive 104-94 home win over the Pacers the next night, sends the Nets to a challenging West Coast trip on a high note.

RANGERS 4-5-3

Brad Marchand squeaked one past Alexander Georgiev, as the Bruins defeated the Rangers 3-2 in OT at MSg on Wednesday.
