“WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR “ YANKS SEASON ENDS With A THUD, AS LOSS PUTS NY HOPES OUT THE WINDOW.

Written on October 15th:

After dismantling the A’s 7-2 in the Wildcard game , a win that was keyed by HRs from Judge and Stanton, Sevvy going 4 scoreless, and the bullpen being sharp. The Yankees fell in 4 games to the Boston Red Sox (5-4,2-6, 16-1,4-3), which ended their season.

With that , here is what I think of this past season, as it ended with a thud on Wednesday (9/9), in the Bronx.

Dear Yankees fans

It stinks , but it’s baseball, even though you might not agree with it. The playoffs are to prove who is the best team, and unfortunately for us , we were beat by a better team, so close yet so far. Congrats to the Boston Red Sox , through 167 games we battled you guys even when we didn’t play you, we were watching, but try as we might , and believe me we did , it unfortunately wasn’t enough to overcome you guys, congrats , and good luck with the Astros , you are going to need it, in my opinion. It was an incredible ride boys , we did a great job showing our grit tonight, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be, but let’s not let that fighter leave us, let’s keep that feeling , and come back even stronger next year, because believe me we will, can’t wait until March 28th 2019 , when we once again release that fighter feeling to the world !!!!! Thanks for a great and memorable season, it was an amazing ride,Let’s go Yankees!

It especially stinks , because the Yankees were the only good NY team , and now they are out in the ALDS, so until March it’s going to be a looooong next few months for New yorkers .

How are the other NY teams doing?

The Rangers are 1-4, and in last place

The Giants are 1-5, after 3 straight crushing losses to the Saints (33-18), Panthers(33-31), and Eagles (34-13)

The only bright spot has been Saquon Barkley , for Big Blue , as he has been playing beast mode almost every chance he gets !

The blame for this lost , has been placed on QB Eli Manning.

Lots of Giants fans have been saying to “ Tank “ the rest of the way, land the first pick , and then draft the best QB.

Eli’s time has come to end.

As for the Rangers , Henrik Lunquist is doing all he can, while only allowing 2 goals per game , but the team can’t consistently back him, and it’s hurting the team.

This isn’t a surprise , as the Rangers are in rebuild mode .
