WEEK 17 MADNESS! CRAZY WEEK 16 SETS UP REGULAR SEASON FINALES!

We had an amazing week of football in Week 16, with some teams securing playoff berths, draft pick, and teams setting up week 17 Sunday madness. Let’s get into it!

GIANTS 13 RAVENS 27f(Baltimore one win away from playoff berth, G-men meanwhile need help)

BROWNS 16 JETS 23(Jets shock world with another win!!! Browns now need week 17 win to get in)

BENGALS 37 TEXANS 31(Brandon Allen, Cincy net 2nd straight win over slumping Texans)

PANTHERS 20 WASHINGTON 13(WFT loss keeps NFC East on ice, Haskins released, Smith will come back play on Sunday night for Football Team.)

TITANS 14 PACKERS 40(Green Bay wins snowy affair as AR12 makes MVP case, meanwhile TEN needs week 17 win to get in)

FALCONS 14 CHIEFS 17(KC Nets 10th straight win after Falcons drop ball, and miss an FG late. Wins give Chiefs the AFC bye spot at 14-1)

BEARS 41 JAGS 17(Bears control playoff destiny in week 17, Jags clinch 1st pick in draft and Trevor Lawrence)

COLTS 24 STEELERS 28(Pittsburgh rallies from 24-7 deficit to clinch AFC North, Colts need help to get in)

BRONCOS 16 CHARGERS 19(Justin Herbert defeats Drew Lock)

RAMS 9 SEAHAWKS 20(Seattle clinches West title, Rams need week 17 win without Goff due to injury, or Bears loss to get in)

BILLS 38 SEAHAWKS 9(Buffalo sweeps NE, Diggs notches 3TDs, Allen superb, as Buffalo magic number is one for two seed)

Now to the week 17 playoff scenarios

NFC 1 seed:

Packers clinch if:

They defeat Bears or Seahawks lose to 49ers

Seahawks clinch if:

They win, + packers and Saints lose. Seahawks have tiebreaker over Green Bay.

Saints clinch if:

They defeat Panthers, Seahawks, win and Packers lose. They win the 3 way tie due to record conference games.

NFC seeds 2-3:

Sants have tiebreaker over Seahawks, if they finish with the same record

NFC East:

The winner of the Giants-Cowboys game wil only matter, if Washington loses to Philly. Should that happen, then the winner of the first game will win the division, and lock into the 4 seed

NFC seeds 5-6:

•Bucs clinch five seed with win over Falcons, or Rams loss to Cardinals

•If they can’t get 5, Rams can nab 6th with in over Cardinals, or Bears loss to Packers. They can get 5 with win AND Bucs loss.

•Cardinals can nab 6th seed with win over Rams, and Bears loss to Packers

•Bears can nab 6 seed with win and a Rams loss on Sunday.

NFC 7 seed:

•Bears clinch playoff spot with win or Cardinals loss. In this scenario, a Rams win would place Bears at 7.

•Cardinals will clinch a playoff spot with win over Rams, that’s all they need to do. But a Bears win in this scenario would make AZ 7.

•Rams can clinch playoff spot with win or Bears loss, with this scenario pushing LA back to the 7th seed, if they fall to Arizona.

AFC 1 seed:

Chiefs have locked it up at 14-1

2-3 seed

•Bills lock that up with win or Steelers loss. If the opposite happens, Steelers are 2, and Bills are 3.

AFC SOUTH:

•Titans clinch AFC south with win or Colts loss. However, they can fall out of playoffs if they lose AND Ravens, Dolphins, and Colts ALL WIN. If they finished tied at 10-6 with Cleveland, the Browns would get in due to head-head record.

•The Colts can win the division, with a win and a Tennessee loss, but if that doesn’t happen, then they can make it by nabbing a Wild Card spot. What would need to happen is them winning, and a loss by the Ravens, Browns, or Dolphins.

Seeds 5-7:

If the Dolphins, Ravens, and Browns all win Sunday, then nothing changes. But, if one of them loses it opens the door for another team from the AFC south, to get in. A Browns win+ losses by the Ravens and Dolphins would make them the 5 seed.

For Baltimore, a win and a Dolphins loss would make them the 5 seed. Meanwhile, if the Browns and Dolphins finish with the same record, though Miami does have the tiebreaker due to conference games record.

As for the Colts, If they get in because of a Wildcard, they can move up to 5th, if everyone in front of them loses. If they get in via a Wildcard, and just two of three lose, they would get the 6 seed.

DRAFT PICK NEWS:

Jags and Jets top 2.

Giants can pick 3rd with loss to Dallas, and wins by Bengals(Over Ravens(, Texans (Over Titans), Lions(Over Vikings), Eagles(Over Washington), Falcons (Over Bucs), Broncos(Over Raiders), and Panthers(Over Saints) all win!
