WILDCATS RULE! DRS WINS, PUSHES THUNDER TO THE BRINK.

Dovid Farrel led the way with two goals and the Ben Ami- Gemal goalie duo kept the YDE Thunder in check as the DRS Wildcats came into the Thunder dome and defeated the YDE Thunder 6-1 on Wednesday night (12/11) in Brooklyn,NY.

Coming into this matchup, the Wildcats (2-2) were favored over the YDE Thunder (1-3-1) , who were coming off a heartbreaking 7-6 overtime loss to the Flatbush Falcons last week at the Falcons nest.

The game started and DRS came out flying and eventually capitalized as Dovid Farrel got a fortune bounce while in front of the net and just like that it was 1-0 Wildcats 27 seconds in.

YDE would hang around however and come right back , as a few minutes after Farrel found paydirt, Ikey Dweck found it himself, on a shot from the corner that took a few bounces before ultimately going in and tying this contest up at 1.

After that , the physicality picked up and the game went into a goalies duel for a bit , as Charles Sulatan was making incredible saves for the Thunder , while Rephael Gemal made the saves he had to for DRS.

With approximately 3 minutes to go until the first intermission, A Wildcat defensemen whizzed it to Farrel who struck gold again and gave DRS a 2-1 lead at the break , with YDE having 27 seconds of power play time , after a late Wildcats penalty.

The second period started with some back and forth play , before DRS finally took control and started peppering Sulatan, who came up big with some great saves keeping YDE in it .

Meanwhile, Yonah Ben- Ami ( The new DRS goaltender) was doing a great job himself of keeping the Wildcats in front, with his gold glove playing.

Late in the period, Yitzach Weiss fired one home in the slot , before Mendal Weiss got one past Sulatan 27 seconds later to give DRS a 4-1 lead after two and the Thunder facing an uphill climb in the third period.

DRS put a cap on things early in the third , when Ethan Hirshfeikd shot a missle into the net to give the Wildcats a 5-1 lead, and put the nail in the coffin for the Thunder.

For the rest of the game , it was a physical one and Charles Sulatan stood on his head , before ultimately allowing Issac Berry to poke one in late and give the DRS Wildcats a 6-1 win.
