The YDE JV Basketball Thunder improved to 3-0 on Tuesday night (11/19), when they demolished the woeful YDH Bulldogs 81-36, in front of a sell-out crowd at the Thunder Dome. YDE started the game firing on all cylinders, as they built a double-digit lead and never looked back racing to a commanding 38-13 halftime lead. The second half was more of the same, as the Thunder tamed the Bulldogs led by Zeev Elo’s career-high 23 points, while Shimon Mizrahi was the other member of YDE in double figures with 10. Although the game wasn’t a contest for these Thunder, they still received great contribution from rookie Steven Sayeg who had 9 points, while also showing his aggression with his several rebounds on defense.
Also chipping in to this 45 point win, were Sophomores David Sayeg And Judah Tawil, who each poured in 8 points, with David’s 8 being eight straight.
